Catherine Morneau Appointed Chair of the Board of Directors of Groupe TAQ

Le Groupe Morneau is proud to highlight the appointment of our Co-President, Catherine Morneau, as Chair of the Board of Directors of Groupe TAQ.

Catherine succeeds André Des Rochers, whose 30 years of leadership profoundly shaped the development and expansion of Groupe TAQ.
She becomes the first woman to hold this position within the organization, a historic milestone in the governance of Groupe TAQ.

The Board of Directors also welcomes Claude-André Pouliot (Macpek) and Georges Marchildon (Eddyfi Technologies). These three appointments bring together experience, strategic vision, and operational expertise, strengthening the Board’s capabilities in entrepreneurship, governance, operations, and innovation.

This appointment reflects the continuity of Catherine’s commitment to Groupe TAQ. Last year, she supported the major community bond campaign, an initiative that promotes the integration and autonomy of individuals living with functional limitations.

Founded in 1979, Groupe TAQ is a non-profit organization providing stable and meaningful employment to more than 300 people, the majority of whom are individuals with disabilities. Through her leadership, Catherine will contribute to advancing the organization’s strategic development while strengthening the balance between economic performance and social impact.
