A Tribute to a Pioneer: Mr. André Morneau Receives the Prestigious Camille Archambault Award

On April 26, during the closing gala of the Quebec Trucking Association (ACQ), Mr. André Morneau, Chairman of the Board of our company and former third-generation President, received one of the highest honors in our industry: the Camille Archambault Award.

Surrounded by his wife, children, and grandchildren who came to celebrate this milestone with him, Mr. Morneau accepted the award with emotion — a heartfelt tribute to an exceptional career dedicated to the transportation industry.

Presented annually to an outstanding figure in road transportation, this award recognizes the commitment, leadership, and significant contributions of an individual to the advancement of the industry. Since 2003, it has borne the name of Camille Archambault, founder of the ACQ and a key figure in the sector.

For Mr. Morneau, this recognition holds special meaning. Over the years, he had the privilege of knowing Mr. Archambault and remembers him as a visionary man, deeply dedicated to the industry. Receiving an award bearing his name is more than an honor — it symbolizes continuity and respect between generations of trailblazers.

Mr. Morneau’s journey has been shaped by consistency, dedication, and humility. From a young age, he was actively involved in the family business, gaining hands-on experience and developing a strong sense of responsibility. After studying business administration, he returned to the basics — behind the wheel of a truck — where he deepened his knowledge of the trade, which still informs his people-first leadership style today.

Over the decades, he has played a key role in the company’s growth while remaining true to its mission and roots. As the third-generation president, he led the organization through a remarkable expansion, now comprising over 1,500 team members across 24 terminals. Today, he continues to contribute significantly as Chairman of the Board, with the same discipline and passion that have driven him since the very beginning.
